Riptide Conference Meet Volunteer Signup and Order Deadlines

Hello Riptide Families,

Happy 4th of July.  Hope you are able to spend time with family and friends on this day.

As mentioned in past emails the tri-county conference meet countdown is on. The Conference Meet will take place July 28-29. The theme this year is “Rock the Block”

All the planning and preparation will come together as Baraboo Riptide is the host of this years meet. Just like the dual meets the conference meet takes many volunteers for it to be successful.  For our new families, the conference meet brings all 8 teams (the ones we compete against in dual meets) together for one final two day meet to close out the summer swim season. The meet is held at the Baraboo Indoor Pool and the parking lot and grounds is where all the teams will call "home" for two days. It's really awesome to see all the swimmers and families converge on Baraboo for this meet. As we get closer to the actual meet I will do my best to inform our families what to expect at the conference meet.

So in preparation, below is important information regarding conference meet sign ups and approaching deadlines. Riptide only hosts the conference meet once every 8 years. As the host we want to give the other teams the best possible experience and need the help of the entire Riptide family. We ask that every family help out during this meet.

This is a very large swim meet. There are many areas where you can help. We encourage you to sign up to help each day and/or bring a food donation each day.  Some volunteer jobs are a bit different than what would be seen at a dual meet but many are the same.
